We release a transcript with every podcast in an effort to make it accessible to all our users.
If there is no “transcript” button visible, there may still be a transcript available. Click the “Options” button for the podcast, and then click “View transcript.” A pop-up will appear with the transcript for the podcast, as shown below.
We use a third-party to create these transcripts. As these are human-transcribed, it may take several hours, depending on the length of the content, for the transcripts to be created and uploaded to the system.
If you are unable to find a transcript for a specific podcast episode within 24 hours of its release, then please email us the episode name at accessibility@washpost.com.
