How do I unsubscribe or change email newsletters and alerts?
If you are receiving newsletters or alerts from The Washington Post and want to make changes to your selections or unsubscribe completely, please try the following:
- Go to the newsletter sign-up page here https://www.washingtonpost.com/newsletters/
- Under each newsletter is a sign-up button. To subscribe to a newsletter/alert, click on the blue “sign up” button. To unsubscribe from a newsletter/alert, click the button again and it should switch to the blue "sign up" button.
- Continue down the page and subscribe or unsubscribe to the various newsletters/alerts. Changes to your selections are made as soon as you click the button.
When in doubt, each and every email message sent by The Washington Post has an unsubscribe or opt-out link at the bottom of the email message.
Why are my newsletters are not being delivered?
If you are signed up for e-mail newsletters or alerts from The Washington Post but are no longer receiving them, there could be several different causes. Please try the following:
Find your spam or junk mail folder. If the messages are in that folder, you will need to move them back into your inbox and mark the messages and/or the sender email@washingtonpost.com as a safe sender or a contact.
If you do not find your newsletters/alerts in a spam or junk folder, contact your service provider (or IT resources if corporate) to see if there is an additional layer of protection applied.
